The Big Deal About Anti-Dumping & China Manufacturers

Recently, there have been a lot of headlines about anti-dumping proposals in various countries. While some, but not all, of these complaints are directed at China manufacturers, the objections being made are largely centered around heavy industrial products such as steel. However, China manufacturing is about so much more than just massive bridge girders.

While this dispute wends its way through various international adjudication bodies, it is important to recognize that only a very small percentage of industry is tied up in these disputes; moreover, some of them are brought out for domestic political purposes in an election year, as much as they may or may not be grounded in true perception.

No matter what the reason, or the outcome of these allegations may be, China's industrial heartland is still open for business, and eager to prove its worth to our many foreign friends and customers. The truth is that China's relationship with overseas markets has proven to be a highly profitable one for all parties concerned.

Anyone who is in the process of ramping up production, or exploring ways to bring new ideas onto a worldwide market under extremely favorable terms, should not allow misleading news reports to blind them to the current and continuing advantages of having a Chinese facility partner. China manufacturers have a proven record of being able to reliably provide high quality goods in quantity at a very satisfactory price.

With a highly skilled workforce, ultra-modern production facilities, and well established connections to all of the world's major trade routes, it is no wonder that obsolescent high-cost competitors grumble about unfair trade practices from their Chinese rivals.

You too can "suffer" from lower production costs, and enhanced profit margins, just by letting facilitating companies, like ITI Manufacturing, partner with you to help do all the heavy lifting on the manufacturing side of the ledger. Disputes come and go, but rock-solid partnerships endure forever.
